About WhatStaysOn

WhatStaysOn helps people answer one question before the next outage: what can I keep running, and what do I need to do it? You choose the appliances that matter; the planner shows which battery power stations can run them, for how long, and why the others can’t.

Who runs it

WhatStaysOn is an independent website operated by Carefree Charters LLC. It isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any manufacturer it covers, and it isn’t a utility, medical or government service. Contact: hello@whatstayson.com.

How we research

• Specs from the source. Every station’s figures come from the manufacturer’s own product pages and manuals, checked on a stated date and linked on its page.
• Cautious when sources conflict. If a maker’s own documents disagree on a number that affects a verdict, we use the more cautious one and say why.
• Independent tests cited as such. Where reviewers have measured something — like how much energy a station actually delivers — we cite them by name and use their findings to set our assumptions.
• Public math. Every formula and assumption is on How we calculate.

What we haven’t done

• No hands-on testing yet. We haven’t measured these stations ourselves. Runtimes are estimates.
• No prices. Prices change daily and differ by retailer, so we link to the manufacturer instead.
• No star ratings or “best overall” awards. We don’t score products we haven’t tested. Our verdicts are about whether a station fits your load.

How money works here

We intend to support the site with affiliate commissions. Right now we are exploring partnerships with selected manufacturers; we do not currently have any active affiliate relationship or affiliate links. Links to manufacturer sites are ordinary links.

If we add affiliate links later, they will be labeled, marked rel="sponsored", and may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Two rules won’t change: the planner’s verdicts and order are worked out from your load and the specs alone, never from commissions; and stations whose makers have no affiliate program are covered on the same terms as those that do.

Privacy in brief

The planner runs entirely in your browser. We set no cookies and run no analytics or ads. Details are in the privacy policy.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to know — email hello@whatstayson.com. We fix the record, note it in the corrections log, and update the date.
